Drupal Developer

We’re looking to hire a full-time, remote Drupal Frontend Developer. For this role, your primary focus will be collaborating with a team of developers in creating and implementing software applications and components. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your hours and work and learn with a team of world-class engineers and designers, through a commitment to team collaboration, communication, and product quality.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal-based websites and applications.
  • Customize Drupal themes and templates to ensure a visually appealing and responsive design.
  • Create and implement custom modules to extend Drupal's functionality as needed.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement and refine user interfaces.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development, Drupal, and related technologies.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and security.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience developing with Drupal 8 and 9, including site building, demonstrated custom module development, and theming.
  • Experience with development tools like Composer, NPM, Git, and Docker-based local development
  • Familiarity with tools like Dev and Lando.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, Javascript (AJAX), and CSS 3.
  • Experience using either Bootstrap CSS or Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with DOM manipulation.
  • Advanced site-building experience, including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as Views, Paragraphs, Layout Builder, and custom modules.
  • Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer with TWIG.
  • Experience integrating open-source and third-party applications into existing systems.
  • Experience working with Drupal hosting platforms like Pantheon or Acquia.
  • Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently.

A candidate should have their own computer and stable internet connection to apply. We want a full-time employee that is only working for us and able to commit around 40 hours per week. You are in charge of your own hours!
