About you
You’ll be joining the Onboarding and Ongoing team as a Due Diligence Operations Manager. Reporting to the Head of Onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.
As a Due Diligence Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Due Diligence Analysts with a primary focus on workflow management, 1st point of contact for escalations, presenting prospective clients to senior committees for approval and general team management activities.
This role will focus on driving production, maintaining quality scores and team morale. It will require a strong leader who is well versed in Due Diligence activities relating to PSPs and regulated FI’s and involve overseeing the completion of enhanced due diligence reviews, and where relevant presenting findings to senior management for approval.
As a key member of the wider Operations Department, you will be expected to support the other areas in specific projects or ad-hoc analysis and recommendations. A high level of stakeholder engagement will be key to the success of this role. Your key stakeholders will be the overall Head of Onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence, Head of Operations and Client Management.

You will be
The successful candidate will need to have strong technical knowledge and experience in managing a team of Analysts conducting EDD/ correspondent banking reviews. You will also need to be a strong manager with exceptional communication and presenting skills as you will be required to engage and present to senior leadership.
Knowledge/ exposure to Crypto asset, downstream related risks and process improvement would be beneficial. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing numerous concurring priorities and be well versed in preparing documentation to be presented to senior stakeholders.
You have got to be passionately curious, as you will often find yourself learning about concepts that you might not have been exposed to in the past. We are looking for someone who is always up for a challenge.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead, manage and drive the performance of a team of Due Diligence Analysts to complete KYC Reviews on High-Risk clients to support the business in achieving revenue targets
- Ensure oversight & close monitoring of all workstream activities and adhere to SLAs
- Organise and manage weekly Customer Committee meetings and present clients for approval/decline to Senior Leadership
- Support the Head of Onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence with the delivery of strategic initiatives
- Prepare and submit papers and reporting to 2nd line FC and senior management as well as complete on any external reporting requests (PSR, FCA, etc)
- Act as 1st point of contact on escalations and queries for your team and ensure a consistent risk-based approach is being applied and where required challenge appropriately
- Perform 121’s, performance reviews, chair daily update calls, assign and prioritize workloads and manage senior stakeholder expectations
What we are looking for
- Knowledge of anti-financial crime regulatory requirements in the EU and UK
- Demonstrate ability to adequately consider all operational effectiveness, risk management and customer experience
- Ability to make risk-based decisions supported by regulatory requirements
- Experience in paper drafting and presenting directly to a senior audience
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong management skills (performing 121’s, performance reviews and overall team management)
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment
- Proactive and keen on taking the initiative
- Strong stakeholder management
- Able to multi-task and manage the time in accordance with priorities and expectations.
- Able to navigate and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably holds relevant professional FCC qualifications
