Pavago is seeking an experienced E-commerce & Marketing expert for our international client, focusing on shaping the digital commerce landscape within the fitness and outdoor industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting and implementing strategies tailored to the online retail environment. Leveraging your expertise in e-commerce management, you'll target a diverse audience, including active lifestyle enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the day-to-day operations of our client's online platforms, from optimizing website content to managing Google and Facebook Ads campaigns. Operating with autonomy, you'll navigate challenges and drive success, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering growth in the digital marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Website Management: Maintain and update the current website with fresh content, product listings, and images. Monitor website performance metrics such as traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rate. Collaborate with the design and development team to implement new features or functionalities as needed.
  • SEO Strategy and Implementation: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases for optimization. Optimize website content, meta tags, and images for search engines. Implement on-page SEO techniques such as internal linking and schema markup. Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies including link building and outreach.
  • Google Ads Management: Create and manage Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and conversions. Conduct keyword research and ad copy optimization to maximize campaign performance. Monitor ad spend and ROI, adjusting bids and budgets as needed to meet campaign objectives.
  • Basic Coding and Website Development: Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make updates and modifications to the website. Customize website themes and templates to align with branding and design standards. Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
  • Marketing Strategy and Collaboration: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote products and increase brand awareness. Monitor marketing analytics and KPIs to assess campaign performance and optimize strategies.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Industry Background: Proficient in coding, online e-commerce platforms, and graphic design for ads and basic video editing. Extensive experience in Google, Facebook Ads, and SEO optimization. Well-spoken in English with strong copywriting skills.
  • Key Competencies: Experience in e-commerce and ideally in the fitness or outdoor industry space. Proficiency in coding, Google Ads, SEO, and website management. Skilled in order processing, backlink article building, and competitive price analysis.
  • Experience Level: Candidates should ideally have experience in e-commerce, with a preference for those who have worked in the fitness or outdoor industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in coding, online e-commerce platforms, and graphic design for ads and basic video editing. Experienced in Google and Facebook Ads, SEO optimization, and strong copywriting skills. Familiarity with Zoom, Google tools, website coding, Slack, Calendly, and other relevant platforms.

What does a typical day look like?

A typical day for this role would involve managing various aspects of digital marketing and e-commerce operations. This includes tasks such as optimizing website content and design, running and optimizing Google and Facebook Ads campaigns, and implementing SEO strategies to improve website visibility. Additionally, the candidate would be involved in order processing, backlink building, and conducting competitive price analysis. Communication and coordination with team members or external partners via platforms like Zoom, Slack, and Calendly would also be essential for effective collaboration.
