Job Description
For this role as an E-Learning Intern, you will:
- Collaborate with Renaissance Learning stakeholders/subject matter experts to determine target audience’s needs, performance goals, and project timelines.
- Assist with designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating e-learning content utilizing Successive Approximation Model (SAM) methodology for instructional design projects
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling content that enhances retention and transfer
- Assist with the development of digital assets that enhance the learning process (audio, video, simulations etc.)
- Insert and configure content within a Learning Management System (LMS), applying properties accurately that determine how the content is rendered.
- Utilize the LMS to store course curriculum, capture program registration, and run reports on attendee completion status
- Assist with training evaluation and analysis of multiple levels of training feedback including satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change and impact on business
- Keep current with trends, best practices, new technologies, and emerging innovations in the learning and development sphere and implement solutions that develop talent
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned at the discretion of UX/UI leadership
Qualifications
For this role as a E-Learning Intern, you should:
- Have 1-2 years’ experience with adult learning, instructional design, professional development, curriculum development
- Be currently enrolled in art, design, instructional design, or related program at an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate with a degree in a related field.
- Have ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Have ability to prioritize appropriately and adapt to change
- Have visual design skills and ability to storyboard
- Have experience working in screencast, animation and eLearning development tools
- Have ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, taking direction and feedback from team members.
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Have strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Have passion for education and a deep understanding of how illustrations can enhance the learning experience.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in a Learning Management System
- Proficiency with Adobe Captivate, After Effects, and/or Premiere
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint

Wage: $25/hour, 40 hours a week, for approximately 10 weeks.
