In 2022, CommentSold debuted its lightweight video commerce plugin technology, Videeo, which gives any retailer or brand the ability to embed and go live with engaging, branded live video commerce experiences within days by easily integrating into an existing e-commerce stack.

The E-commerce Visual Fashion Merchandiser is responsible for creating visually compelling and commercially viable product presentations with the primary goal of optimizing the online shopping experience by strategically arranging products, designing eye-catching displays, and ensuring cohesive brand representation across all digital touchpoints. The Visual Fashion Merchandiser will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and design, to drive sales and enhance customer engagement. 

This role is a fully remote position based in India. Preferably this person is based out of Mumbai or Bangalore. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies to showcase products effectively and drive sales.
  • Curate product assortments and collections based on seasonality, trends, and promotional priorities.
  • Create visually appealing product displays, banners, and landing pages that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
  • Implement A/B testing and data-driven analysis to optimize product placement, layout, and imagery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate promotions, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of product information, pricing, and inventory levels across the platform.
  • Work closely with the photography and content teams to obtain high-quality product images and assets.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights on visual merchandising effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in e-commerce, digital marketing, and visual merchandising.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of experience with a degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Design, or a related field
  • Strong creative vision and aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, UX/UI design, and digital marketing strategies
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign
  • Have Basic Knowledge of building websites with Wix/Wordpress or Similar tools
  • Portfolio showcasing previous visual merchandising projects and achievements is a plus.x
  • A strong instagram presence focused on fashion or as a fashion creator is a plus.
  • Must be able to flex at least 4 working hours to overlap with North American time zones; Requirement to work until 3:30pm EST (US).
