Essential Job Duties

You will:

  • Edit and provide technical, brand voice, and style feedback on writing produced by Writing team members, internal contributors, and external contractors or agencies.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of external contributors (agencies and contractors) to maintain content quality and brand voice; act as the main point of contact for these contributors.
  • Manage Writer tool, including updating the style guide, learning new features, and supporting the Writing team manager in expanding adoption within the marketing department and across the company.
  • Perform final QA and publish blog posts, gated assets, and other content pieces on the BambooHR website.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in existing gated assets and content on the website.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Strong command of English grammar, usage, diction, and spelling; attentiveness to different registers of language; and an interest in how English continues to change
  • Sharp eye for fact-checking, logic and persuasion, structure, and grammar
  • Ability to intuit what a writer is trying to say and what the readers are likely to infer
  • Ability to give friendly, clear coaching feedback on writing, including specific ways to improve
