eLearning Designer
Who we are
Maestro is a learning innovation company. Our purpose is to do good in the world by inspiring positive change through better learning experiences driven by creative strategy, design, and technology. Maestro creates learning that empowers and inspires. We hire talented humans who are aligned with our purpose and truly care about the needs of our clients and everyone around them.
Who you are
You know that good design is critical in creating a great learning experience and you’re an expert with industry-leading authoring tools. You may even be a seasoned Instructional Designer, but your heart lies with the design and layout of eLearning courses and vILT (this role is not focused on writing courses or vILT). You’re detail oriented with an exceptional eye for design. You don’t just know your way around authoring tools, though; you also have experience stretching these tools to their limits in order to create well-designed courses. You’re a great communicator, capable of, and comfortable with, presenting and explaining your work to project teammates in a clear manner. You consider yourself a pro with authoring tools, specifically Articulate Rise and Storyline 360, and you're able to create assets and imagery using Adobe Creative Cloud programs like Illustrator and Photoshop, and if you have experience working in Figma, that’s a plus—it’s our preferred design tool. You have experience working as a freelancer, which enables you to be flexible with the ebbs and flows of custom projects. When it comes to your work, you’re a self-starter who is able to work independently, you search out answers to your questions, and you execute with exceptional quality.
