Email Marketer

We are looking for a detail-oriented email marketer who can take our marketing and sales communications to the next level. This is a direct-impact role that will work closely with members of the marketing and sales teams to execute high-performing email communications that meet a variety of goals related to demand generation and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute deep research to understand multiple buyer personas and craft compelling and engaging emails
  • Support interactive planning sessions with marketing and sales to plan email marketing campaigns to support company strategy and revenue goals
  • Plan, manage and optimize nurture email campaigns across three target markets: US health systems, UK health systems, and pharmaceutical organizations
  • Plan, write and schedule all marketing emails to promote virtual and in-person events, content, and company or product announcements
  • Customize email messaging for personas, based on persona profiles provided by sales or marketing
  • Create email templates for the sales team to promote a piece of content, an event, or as cold outreach to a defined audience
  • Analyze data to optimize strategies and improve email marketing performance, reporting out on campaign performance and proposed iterations to the broader sales and marketing team.
  • Support broader marketing content creation
  • Optimize subject lines, CTAs, and send times
  • Utilize databases to lookup contact information
  • Maintain brand voice
  • Stay up to date with email marketing best practices, keep output fresh

About you:

  • You are a strong writer and communicator who is both creative and analytical
  • You have some experience working within a marketing or sales team
  • You are self-motivated and able to research independently
  • You love experimenting and continually improving. You often use the phrase “What if we tried…”
  • You have a passion for marketing and developing data-driven strategies
  • You are a team-player who enjoys working with a team of diverse backgrounds
  • You are a stickler for deadlines who enjoy the occasional curveball

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience on a marketing or sales team
  • Provide several relevant writing samples as part of the interview process
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare preferred
