Enterprise Account Executive
The role & Gitpod
We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive in North America to accelerate our growth at Gitpod. Reporting to our Head of Sales, you'll drive end-to-end sales cycles with support from our Business Development Reps and Sales Engineers and closely collaborate with internal teams including product, engineering, and marketing. We firmly believe that everyone at Gitpod is in sales. This role will be at the forefront of our partnerships, representing Gitpod as we secure new enterprise clients.
As the founder and market leader in Cloud Development Environments (CDE), we're approaching 10x enterprise revenue growth over 18 months. We've earned significant partnerships with enterprise clients, and on average, our customers use Gitpod 36 hours per week per developer. Our ROI calculator demonstrates how we help customers save nearly $1,000,000 annually for every 100 engineers using Gitpod.

Responsibilities
End-to-end ownership of US revenue generation and quota attainment
- Partner with BDRs and utilize your own network to generate leads that are hyper-focused on our ICP
- Rigorously qualify opportunities using MEDDPICC methodology
- Deeply understand our ICP’s problems and find solutions that solve them while managing deadlines and keeping internal and external teams on track
- Articulate and quantify Gitpod's value proposition
- Keep meticulous account notes in Salesforce to proactively manage pipeline, forecast, and prioritize with internal teams
- See deals through and support the introduction with our Customer Success team
Establish and nurture impeccable relationships internally and externally
- Keep our operating values at the core of how you operate
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships with executives at F500 companies
Continuous exploration of market and competitors
- Keep a strong pulse on Cloud Development Environment (CDE) trends
- Monitor and compare competitor tools
- Share prospect insights and suggestions with product and engineering

Additionally, we're looking for someone with the most of the following experience:
- High-growth, early stage experience with significant contribution in going from 0 to 1
- Highly technical SaaS product sales - bonus if it’s in the developer tools space
- Significant track record exceeding quota in a full-cycle environment (To be blunt, if you do not have a history of closing 6 to 7+ figure, multi year contracts, this role will not be for you)
- At least 3 senior-level+ references that can speak to your strong performance

Interview process
We are fully remote and so is our hiring process. We value written and async communication, building relationships, and making sure people are in their sweet spot where their strengths align with the responsibility of their role. This process is designed to showcase and evaluate these topics and give you the opportunity to see how we work at Gitpod.
