We’re pleased to be searching for the next member of the OptinMonster Growth team: Enterprise Sales Representative. You’re here to help find and convert the world’s largest and most experienced companies to OptinMonster customers and raving fans who take us with them wherever they go. You’ll own our Enterprise Sales processes for both inbound and outbound sales. Compensation for this role will be a base salary plus commission. Details about compensation will be discussed during interviews.

OptinMonster currently includes two products: OptinMonster and TrustPulse, both lead generation SaaS used on over 1.2 million websites. OptinMonster is proud to be part of the Awesome Motive family of products, including WPBeginner, WPForms, MonsterInsights, Easy Digital Downloads, Push Engage, SeedProd, and many more.

The following are the primary responsibilities of the Enterprise Sales Representative:

  • You will not only be a member of our Growth team but also interact with our Customer Success team on a regular basis.
  • Inbound Sales:
  • Manage and respond promptly to incoming inquiries through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and website inquiries.
  • Respond quickly by both phone, email, and text during business hours, knowing that the company who responds first most often wins the sale.
  • Qualify leads by understanding customer requirements, pain points, and budget considerations.
  • Conduct live product demonstrations, present benefits, and tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of potential customers.
  • Effectively negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and customer success, to provide seamless customer experiences and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Outbound Sales:
  • Develop and execute a strategic outbound sales program to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
  • Identify target market segments and research prospects to build a comprehensive contact database.
  • Craft compelling sales messages and value propositions to engage prospects and create interest in our SaaS product.
  • Utilize various outbound sales techniques, such as cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking, to establish relationships with potential customers.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments, identify pain points, and offer tailored solutions to drive conversions and achieve sales goals.
  • Inside Sales:
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to cultivate relationships with existing Enterprise customers to recommend upsells within OptinMonster, and cross-sells to other Awesome Motive products.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, including conversion rates, lead generation, and revenue forecasts.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices, provide feedback, and contribute to overall sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the SAAS industry for a product-led product.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and various types of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Proficiency with CRM software.
  • Strong technical skills and a broad understanding of email marketing platforms and ad retargeting.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members and customers in different time zones and attend virtual team meetings.
  • You have the ability to research, understand, and communicate the concepts and best practices of the lead generation industry, including email marketing, e-commerce, SMS, split testing, and ad retargeting.
  • You will become an OptinMonster expert. You’ll have to know the product inside out and the business use cases for it.
  • Previous freelance or remote work experience.
  • Personal Computer with Internet Access
  • Availability to participate in audio/video meetings between the hours 9 am - 5 pm EST

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience with analytics and testing platforms like Optimizely, VWO, Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, and others.
  • Experience using OptinMonster or a similar lead generation tool.
  • Strong technical skills and an understanding of APIs and Webhooks.

Location

This is a remote position - our team is spread around the globe! Our home base is in Florida, USA. The Enterprise Sales Representative will need to be fully available between 9am - 5pm ET (UTC -5) because that is when the majority of our Enterprise inquiries are received.
