You’ll work directly with members as their estate planning coach, clarifying each estate planning document, the probate process, and trust funding. You’ll also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the way we do things.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an estate planning coach for members to help them identify and achieve their goals by providing a high-quality member experience during every interaction.
  • Work directly with members via videoconference, phone, and email.
  • Host a minimum of 25 member meetings each week to help members learn about estate planning, their goals, and to put together an estate plan.
  • Prepare for member meetings by collecting, organizing, and synthesizing member data while using in-house and partner technology.
  • Partner with team members to manage operational items including assisting with support requests and coordinating directly with members.
  • Act as a driving force to help members take the necessary action steps to fully complete their plan.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work PST hours (11am - 8pm ET)
  • Paralegal certificate (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of paralegal experience in estate planning and probate administration
  • Must possess a strong understanding of estate planning documents, specifically the differences between a Will and a Trust
  • Knowledge of common revocable trust funding practices
  • Available during standard business hours (Pacific Standard Time Zone)
  • Must be able to meet and consistently maintain the minimum WiFi standards in order to efficiently work in the Company’s environment, and effect quality online connections
  1. A minimum of 15+Mbps upload speed, 50Mbps download speed, and a latency of under 100
  2. If these WiFi speeds are not met, it will be the employee’s responsibility to troubleshoot and potentially upgrade to meet the minimum speed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have superb communication, organizational, and member service skills
  • You understand the value of building long-term relationships
  • You have excellent computer skills along with the ability to learn in-house software and tools
  • You have the ability to provide constructive feedback: we continue to enhance our platform and rely on our team’s feedback for improvement
  • You are able to work independently and as a member of a team, balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and demonstrate exceptional time and calendar management skills
