As an Executive Director in the Chase Auto Finance & Business Management team you will take on a leadership role in the Finance organization. The role entails managing the day-to-day responsibilities as CFO for our Direct to Consumer business (Finance & Drive), as well as CFO of Marketing across Chase Auto.

In conjunction with the Direct Lending CFO role, you will also be a trusted advisor for the Chase Auto Chief Product Officer. The main responsibilities will be working with the Chase Auto Direct Lending and Product teams to develop and track business cases, validate Direct Lending origination volume and expenses for all forecast and budget processes, and ensure all expenditures are approved appropriately.

Within the Marketing CFO function, you will oversee the financial reporting, analysis, business cases and decision support for Chase Auto Marketing, working closely with the Chase Auto Marketing team and serve as trusted advisor of Chase Auto Chief Marketing Officer. The role will be working with the leadership teams in Chase Auto F&BM, Marketing, and Data & Analytics, as well as with the CCB Marketing Center of Excellence. Primary responsibilities will be developing and track marketing business cases, validate marketing volume and expenses for all forecast and budget processes, ensure all marketing expenditures are approved appropriately. The candidate will be responsible to partner with the marketing team to develop/identify investment opportunities to generate positive SVA for Chase Auto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and use key business drivers, market information and performance metrics to manage the business case process for investments. Track and validate performance against business cases
  • Support in preparation of annual budgets, multi-year plans, forecast revisions inclusive of headcount related expenses
  • Prepare materials for periodic business reviews for senior management
  • Support (design/ modify) the monthly/quarterly reporting for various financial measures, including month-end estimates, closing and reporting as per business requirements
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required to assess any industry related trends and topics
  • A strong focus on enhancing and streamlining processes and automating workflows to reduce processing time
  • Lead and develop junior talent and set prioritization per team requirements and deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 7-10 Years in finance or treasury in a financial services firm
  • Ability to build and manage robust financial models using Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills and the demonstrated ability to produce senior management presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage highly matrixed cross functional teams
  • Proven leader with the ability to drive results on large scale deliverables
  • Ability to communicate to Leadership in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and written
  • Proven ability to build discounted cashflow models
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of financial applications such as Essbase, SQL and SAP will be a strong advantage
