The Role

As a Lumen Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving marketing campaigns and programs to increase funnel and ultimately acquire new logos and upsell existing customer accounts. This position will develop and deliver tactics to drive high-touch marketing programs to move prospects and customers through the sales cycle to meet Lumen revenue targets. You will support the Lumen sales organization in a fast-paced environment that requires both marketing and sales expertise.

This is a work-from-home/field based-role responsible for Northern Colorado and Wyoming. Regional travel will be required.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver communications tactics that proactively drive marketing programs through planning, execution, and results tracking.
  • Ensure awareness, adoption, and participation of marketing campaigns and tools by sales professionals; develop and deliver actions plans for improvement.
  • Manage formal feedback loop to provide field input on programs and promotions to product and segment marketing teams.
  • Drive lead generation activities to increase lead conversion rates to meet overall revenue targets.
  • Track lead generation and program results via SFDC and communicate success rates and/or opportunities to sales and marketing leadership.
  • Manage field marketing program budget.
  • Participate in sales organization projects and initiatives to provide marketing support and resources.
  • Communicate and execute enterprise and industry events to local teams
  • Constantly improving the overall customer experience - being customer obsessed
  • Interfacing with local leaders and representing the company as a "brand ambassador" across multiple communities
  • Managing customer communications
  • Scheduling, coordinating, project managing and hosting local events
  • Assembling playbooks that detail the ownership, timelines and success metrics and execution hand-offs
  • Implementing local marketing tactics and other duties as assigned

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Thorough understanding of residential broadband, voice and video service solutions, with specific knowledge of the fiber broadband service
  • Three to five years of marketing experience
  • Experience developing market trends, customer demographic profiles and identifying target customers
  • Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly collaborative personality
  • Extensive experience with customer satisfaction measurement tools, such as NPS as well as project management tools and methodologies
  • Strength in creating and delivering consulting-level project plans and presentations
  • Action-oriented and creative thinker who can focus on detailed implementation and execution
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills; a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives independently in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel when needed - 35-50%
  • Weekend events and engagement participation will be required
  • Overnight travel will be required for training, events and/or market visits

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
