Field Marketing Specialist

The role: 

As Newsela’s Field Marketing Specialist, you are ready to dive in and execute with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Sales Development to create integrated field marketing programs that extend Newsela’s reach into key local markets. You love problem solving and thrive in organizing and executing on events, account based marketing, state-specific campaigns and enabling teams with the tools, resources and communication needed to be successful.

You will: 

  • Collaborate with the Director, B2B Marketing and Sr. Field Marketing & Events Manager to support quarterly field marketing plays and events for priority local markets
  • Execute state-specific and regional lead generation campaigns using various channels such as custom landing pages, webinars, digital marketing, and in-person events with the support of the Director, B2B Marketing and Sr. Events and Field Marketing Manager 
  • Support creation of scalable playbooks for Marketing Qualified Leads, supporting SDRs in setting meetings, and generating pipeline across regions
  • Create or adapt sales collateral and sales enablement tools as needed for the specified segments within specified regions/accounts for key priority markets
  • Refresh a library of self-service, customizable templates used by Sales and Customer Success
  • Manage our internal library of collateral and campaigns in Highspot, monitoring and reporting on usage, and compiling a Monthly Communications Package to keep the Sales and Customer Success teams informed on Marketing activities
  • Maintain swag inventory, at-scale events materials, collateral, and coordinate in-person event logistics
  • Collaborate with Sr. Events and Field Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Managers, and Customer Success Managers to develop a prioritized regional campaign and event calendar, attending in-person events as needed
  • Support co-marketing programs with local partners

Base compensation: $65,000 - $75,000. Total compensation for this role also includes incentive stock options and benefits. This compensation range may be adjusted based on actual experience.
