Job Details
The Finance team is looking for an intern to help evaluate, design, and implement accounting and reporting processes. The individual should have a passion for automation and effective communication through dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project to enhance financial planning model, ensuring alignment to internal and external reporting, as well as ensuring modeling accuracy.
- Design process and implement escheatment policies (remitting unclaimed client funds to states) which are critical to customer interactions and regulatory compliance.
- Create a tool using Gsuite that provides the finance team with reporting and remittance requirements.
- Evaluate existing reporting and remittance tools and recommend improvements or other solutions
Requirements
- Currently a junior or senior, enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on finance, accounting, or related field
- Background in accounting or finance; project management skills preferred
- Effective communication skills are a must.
- Working experience with Gsuite, excel and PowerPoint, including advanced functions such as macros, pivot tables, etc
