As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in our growth and financial health by overseeing and managing aspects of our FP&A and accounting functions and influencing strategic decisions to help scale Roofr’s blooming business. 

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter with strong strategic and analytical skills who has experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and strategic analysis, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. 

The candidate will work closely with our Senior Director of Finance, Controller, and internal stakeholders, including executives, data, product, marketing, sales, and engineering.

What You’ll Do:

Financial Planning & Analysis: 

  • Develop and maintain the annual budget, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support strategic decision-making 
  • Conduct financial analysis, scenario analysis, and modeling to evaluate growth initiatives, product launches, and identify opportunities
  • Monitor unit economics, SaaS metrics, and KPIs
  • Provide data analysis, insights, and recommendations to management to drive financial performance
  • Support fundraising and M&A efforts, including preparation of financial materials for investors and investor presentations
  • Provide training, mentorship and performance feedback
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as required

Accounting:

  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist the accounting team during the month end close process with a focus on ensuring accuracy of revenues
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of commission calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with reporting and compliance with external stakeholders
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as required

What You’ll Bring:

  • CPA designation required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5+ years of progressive experience, ideally a combination of public accounting and industry
  • Expertise in financial modeling required
  • US GAAP experience preferred
  • Experience with Netsuite is considered an asset
