Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our dynamic Voya Investment Management (IM) Finance team. As a key member of the Finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial planning and analysis function, supporting strategic decision-making, and optimizing business performance. Your expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and profitability assessment, combined with your proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and ThinkCell, will be vital to the success of our company.
Please Note: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.

You will play a vital role in shaping our Voya IM Finance's financial strategy and driving its continued success. Strategic Financial Guidance: Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic financial guidance, ensuring alignment of financial objectives with the company's overall growth and profitability targets.
Profitability Analysis: Lead the profitability analysis process, including identifying cost structures, and profit drivers. Offer insights to optimize profitability across business units and investment strategies.
Data Visualization: Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and ThinkCell to create insightful and interactive financial dashboards, reports, and presentations. Enhance the understanding and communication of financial data across the organization.
Financial Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, variance analysis, and KPIs to senior management and the board of directors, utilizing data visualization techniques to enhance clarity and impact.
Supporting Audit Walkthroughs: Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting information to ensure smooth audit processes.
Deal Bonus Calculations & Expense Support: Participate in the modeling and calculation of deal bonuses for investment professionals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Capital Allocation & Investment Decisions: Assist in capital budgeting decisions and provide financial analysis for evaluating potential investment opportunities.
Risk Management & Mitigation: Identify financial risks related to investment strategies and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement: Continuously enhance FP&A processes, systems, and reporting using data visualization tools, to streamline operations, improve data accuracy, and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of financial analysis. Support our transformation of our billing process to overseas operations.
Business Partnership: Foster strong relationships with business unit leaders and investment teams, acting as a strategic business partner to provide financial insights and support for key business decisions.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with a strong background in asset management or investment management industries.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Experience in profitability analysis, capital budgeting, and investment decision-making.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and ThinkCell to enhance FP&A deliverables and insights.
- Financial software, Excel, and other data analysis tools proficiency.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance in the investment management industry.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
