The Opportunity
The role is based in the Lake Forest, IL office. This is a hybrid role with an office requirement of at least 3 days in the office.
Responsible for forecasting Covid Sales Revenue and Volumes for ARDx Infectious Disease Developed Markets U.S. Commercial. Ensures execution of the S&OP demand process by integrating Product, Distributor, Marketing & Supply Insights with the outcome of a supported Affiliate’s financial sales growth for the short, mid, and long term. This position is ultimately responsible for establishing, developing, and implementing appropriate processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and planning information, while also providing efficient and effective decision support to management.
What You’ll Work On
- Responsible for forecasting Covid ID Now and Binax products under the council of the manager for this team. Each product has complex forecasting model with multiple variables and inputs such as Covid cases, Distributor and retailer inventory levels, Government Contract timelines, sales tracings/sell out, etc.
- Other forecasting: Analyze and forecast ID Now Covid Utilization, Report and forecast ID Now Covid only instruments, Report and forecast Covid Government contracts and Track and forecast Binax OTC by each Retailer.
- Prepare quarterly LBE, Plan, Confirmation and several ad hoc sales forecasts. Ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Interface with management across respective functions (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Corporate Accounts, finance, Supply Chain)
- Set and monitor key performance indicators and diagnostics to ensure continuous forecast improvement efforts and achievement of agreed goals.
- Facilitating teamwork to increase quality and productivity, assumes direct responsibility for results and empowers others while maintaining high performance standards.
- Ensure availability of timely and well-presented, high-quality expense, balance sheet, headcount and capital results & projections vs. appropriate benchmarks, as well as trended information.
- Coordination of Plans/Updates/LBEs and monthly actual results should be executed and interpreted for Management decision making supporting the education of Management as to the main financial assumptions and/or key business and variance drivers.
- Financial expertise in evaluating and identifying the key issues and gaps in business performance and emerging business needs, deliver analyses that provides a foundation for management understanding and action.
- Develop metrics and reports to identify activity level for monthly review with management to address performance.
- Provide business decision support as required, including meaningful, value-added resource and expense analyses to influence and counsel management in developing business strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (± 16 years) In Accounting, Finance, or Economics or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 4 years (ideally at least 6 years) or more of Finance experience (FP&A, Cost/General Accounting or Financial Reporting).
- Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems.
- Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of experience in Finance/Accounting and some experience as a supervisor in past roles.
