Summary of Responsibility
The Financial Administrator is responsible for day to day accounting transactional activities. This includes working with customer contracts including sales orders and billing/invoicing, purchase orders/vendor invoices, and payroll and benefit related matters.
LOCATION
100% Remote - Anywhere within the US
Essential functions, duties, and responsibilities:
- Review and translate data from customer contracts into appropriate items within the accounting system to complete the invoicing process.
- Handle high volume vendor interactions and vendor invoices, review and code them into the vendor system and seek departmental manager approval.
- Research billing and collection matters to resolve customer questions.
- Be able to run, manage and operate bi-monthly payroll.
- Research errors and perform necessary tasks to correct problems and/or be able to work with our software provider customer support to resolve issues.
- Analyze data and help with special projects (various accrual analysis, reconciliations between systems)
- As and when required help with the collection of outstanding customer invoices.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a finance role, with prior payroll responsibilities.
- Great organization skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and balance a number of priorities.
- Must be technology driven and understand how to best maximize the capture of data through systems
- Working knowledge of NetSuite is a big plus.
- Able to interpret data from spreadsheets and other tools.
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
