About the role

As our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial and operational health of Y42, working closely with our VP of Operations and spearheading strategic initiatives to propel our growth trajectory. 

As our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will: 

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for Y42's financial trajectory, leveraging your expertise in FP&A and financial reporting
  • Support fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and growth plans
  • Manage performance of the company through financial metrics and controlling
  • Interact with company leadership on finance topics
  • Drive internal projects aimed at optimizing company operations for scalability and efficiency
  • Take ownership of relationships with external service providers, including lawyers and tax consultants
  • Manage company tooling and systems, such as Spendesk, Deel, and Papaya, to streamline processes and enhance productivity

About you

 What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in highly analytical fields such as finance, operations, or project management, preferably in consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups
  • Hands-on experience in financial modeling and implementing business processes
  • A data-driven and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Exceptional stakeholder and project management skills, with a proven ability to drive initiatives to completion
  • Proactive, diligent, and results-oriented mindset, with a strong bias for action
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new concepts in a fast-paced environment
  • Ambitious and driven to excel in a rapidly evolving industry and organization

Knowledge of SQL language or demonstrate willingness to learn more about it; although, proficiency in SQL is not a mandatory requirement.
