Role Overview:
As our Founding AI/ML Engineer & Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing AI-powered tools and building the backend infrastructure. You will manage the AI-powered job application automation and ensure the backend systems are robust and scalable.
Responsibilities:
AI Development: Design, develop, and implement AI models to power job application automation..
Backend Development: Build and maintain the backend infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
Optimization: Optimize machine learning models and backend systems for performance and reliability.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Full Stack Developer and product teams to integrate AI solutions and backend functionality.
Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code and maintain coding standards across the application.
Who You Are:
Experienced: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and backend development.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or Ruby).
Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Communicative: Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a distributed team.
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Interview Process:
Intro Call/Interview: Initial conversation with one of the founders.
Take-Home Assignment: Provide the code repository
Deep Dive: Brief documentation on how to run the service, and a summary of the AI model and its training process.
Offer: If everything aligns, we extend an offer to join our team.
Compensation: While there is no salary initially, we will offer equity to share in the company’s success. Once the MVP is complete and we raise our next funding round, there will be a generous salary and benefits package offered + $25,000 upfront bonus.
