About Us

Profitable B2B SaaS company, teams are based out of North America, but this role is remote from Canada. We're only open to Product Designers that don't require relocation and are eligible to work in Canada :)

We're one of the top no-code data segmentation platforms that help marketing teams filter data and run targeted campaigns without writing code. We help our clients better understand their customers and improve their ROI. Some of our customers include Google, Indeed, and The Boston Red Sox.

What You’ll Do

As our Lead Product Designer, you'll be working directly with the leadership team, engineering and our customers. You'll be leading product design on our core web platform (no mobile just yet). This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in taking a successful B2B SaaS application to the next level (with many active users).

Our Web Tech Stack: Ruby on Rails, Python, Typescript, Figma, Storybook, AWS, GCP

How we work:

- Collaborative team! Lots of new interesting complex design work available

- End to end design, from conception, low fidelity all the way up to high fidelity

- We build for the long term, we're already profitable and operate at the enterprise level

- 100% remote, most folks work in EST and we have a tech hub in Toronto

About You

We are looking for a Senior/Staff/Lead Product Designer to lead Design internally for us. You'll be working closely with Product and Engineering. We plan to grow the design team in the future.

Example Responsibilities:

- Design our core product – from major product features, to the interactions that leave users smiling. You'll own all consumer and business-facing experiences

- Prototype visual and UX concepts, and drive the process to identify the right design choices for our product

- Ship aesthetically pleasing user interfaces, mockups and animations that delight and add value to our users

- Acts as the UI/UX expert/advisor on app design (including standards, best practices and accessibility)

- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders, to contribute to the product roadmap and lead the team in solving user problems from ideation to execution

- Inspire the team by bringing new ideas to the table, leading design sprints and advocating for our users

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of progressive responsibility in product design or user experience design roles with heavy experience in Web (SaaS) apps (experience working in Analytics or no code is a big plus)

- At least 2+ years designing for Analytics or something similar (no code/abstracting complex things). Looking for someone strong in dashboard visualization.

- BA/BS degree in human-centered interaction, UX/UI design, or related field of study; OR equivalent professional work experience.

- An excellent understanding of Analytics/Dashboards patterns and conventions.

- Ability to balance great design solutions with an iterative approach (v1, v2, or v3 )

- Experience designing and prototyping complex workflows with Figma or similar products

- Well versed in facilitation techniques that enable groups to build clarity and alignment

- You elevate design through your approach - from actively seeking feedback, communicating designs, and setting the standard for execution

- Expert understanding (including capabilities, patterns and limitations) of current web technologies

- Would be great if you have design systems experience - we're a Typescript shop on the FE

- Someone with an entrepreneurial spirit (low ego, highly intelligent, and a quick learner) and can work in an ambiguous environment

- You’re an expert in the fundamentals: visual design, interaction design, and information architecture.

- A strong portfolio showing your process of working through full end-to-end experiences, design thinking, and using research to drive decisions.

- Nice to have: Some coding skills - HTML, CSS, Interaction level JavaScript
