About the Role

We’re looking for a founding recruiter to help scale up our company across the board. As the founding member of our talent acquisition team, your mission is to design and implement a talent pipeline to attract the most ambitious and entrepreneurial minds. Individuals who excel at this job are comfortable with ambiguity, can build processes 0 to 1, problem solve quickly and have bias to action.

What you’ll do as our Founding Recruiter:

  • Partner with leadership to understand hiring roadmap, and develop/execute effective recruiting strategies to support company growth.
  • Constantly iterate and manage our full life-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a superior candidate experience (with some recruiting ops support from existing team resources).
  • Get ahead of problems in hiring funnels quickly by leveraging both metrics and qualitative data. You’ll need to detect, diagnose, and understand problems before hiring managers do.
  • You’ll be the first person every candidate talks to. This means you’ll need to set a high bar for raw intellect while leveraging all tactics necessary to convince the candidate that Eppo is their next best opportunity.

Skills

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally focused on technical hires, but open to other backgrounds as well
  • An impressive track record of sourcing top tech talent and fulfilling roles against hiring plans
  • Early stage startup experience: comfortable with ambiguity + building from scratch
  • Great balance of EQ and IQ: You embody a collaborative mindset and great rapport-building skills with fellow team members and candidates, and also have strong problem solving skills and bias to action that enable you to think quickly.
  • Strong talent marketing skills that will market Eppo’s opportunities to the highest performers in technology
  • Ability to quickly identify closing strategies to bring on A-players to our team
