Bazaarvoice is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to provide financial support for our sales and client success organizations. In this role, you will serve as the primary financial support with ownership of budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, and reporting related to operating expenses and headcount. This involves tracking expenses, analyzing trends/variances, creating P&Ls, and maintaining complex financial models. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills, and is comfortable interacting with senior management. Given the sensitive nature of the data, the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness is critical.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the sales and client success organizations to coordinate, develop, and prepare the annual operating plan and monthly forecasts
  • Monitor expense and headcount actuals vs plan, and provide analysis/recommendation for business partners and the finance team
  • Participate in the monthly close process and reconcile budget-to-actual variances
  • Develop an understanding of the business’ strategic priorities, resource and headcount needs; Collaborate with the business to execute and improve financial planning and budgeting
  • Create financial models of sales, revenue, operating expenses, and HC. Consolidate and analyze financial data and demonstrate understanding of financial concepts
  • Work with stakeholders to build business cases and set up processes to manage the spending of new projects/initiatives

Who you are:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7-10 years relevant work experience in FP&A or related roles, preferably in SaaS companies with experience providing FP&A support for a sales organization
  • Ability to analyze financial information and present data analysis and interpretation in clear, compelling ways to facilitate decision-making by finance and senior management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert financial modeling and analytical skills with problem-solving abilities
  • Detail oriented and ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and a results-driven mindset
  • Process-focused with the ability to identify and execute process improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, and NetSuite is a plus

$140,000 - $160,000 a year

At Bazaarvoice, we carefully consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. We also take geography into consideration when we can but are not able to accommodate every location when determining our ranges. These considerations mean that compensation can vary. That said, we expect the base salary for this position to be in the range to be as listed above and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
