Role Description
This is a part-time, remote position for a Front-End Developer at Halen. As a Front-End Developer, you will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining the user-facing aspects of our applications. You'll work closely with designers to implement UI/UX specifications, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across devices.
Responsibilities
- Focus primarily on front-end development.
- Build and maintain browser-based applications, both single-page and multi-page.
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI designs into responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Participate in weekly team meetings (Wednesdays at 8pm EST).
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Experience with our tech stack: AstroJS + Svelte islands (for multi-page applications), SvelteKit (for single-page applications), TailwindCSS, and TypeScript.
- Strong professional experience with CSS (specifically TailwindCSS) and JavaScript (TypeScript).
- Proven knowledge of responsive design principles.
- Experience working with NodeJS using TypeScript.
- A portfolio showcasing previous front-end development work.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Team player mentality, adhering to in-house coding standards.
Compensation
This is an equity-based role, offering a significant equity stake in Halen Super App. A salary will be offered once funding is secured.
