Front End Web Developer
Our leading Federal Integrator partner is looking for a Mid-level Jekyll Developer to support their active government contract. As a Mid-Level Jekyll Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing static websites using Jekyll. You will work closely with our design and content teams to create visually appealing and highly functional web pages. Your role will involve converting designs into responsive HTML/CSS, optimizing site performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain static websites and blogs using Jekyll.
- Convert design mockups into responsive HTML/CSS.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement SEO best practices and ensure web accessibility standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jekyll sites.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in web development, with a focus on static site generators like Jekyll.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
