Full Stack Software Engineer, Convenet
Datavant is a rapidly growing health technology company with a mission to connect the world’s health data. By eliminating health data silos, we unlock opportunities to accelerate clinical data exchange, medical research; helping organisations design better ways to facilitate access, affordability, and quality of care leading to better patient outcomes. Datavant is already the USA’s largest neutral and secure health data ecosystem, and now we’ve expanded to the UK!
As we grow this budding team, of course, we’re looking for the obvious: bright; problem-solving; collaborative; passionate; get-things-done people that want to work in a rapidly scaling company. We genuinely work as a fully remote UK startup; funded, supported, and collaborating with our US colleagues. Feel free to ask us about this! As Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll specifically join the Convenet arm of Datavant.
Convenet provides an API SaaS platform that enables products across the entire healthcare ecosystem by aggregating many NHS services, empowering pharmacies; care homes and clinical apps supporting patients with different conditions. As part of our team you’ll be enabling patients to send clinical data back to their record and improve timely hospital discharges too. This is fundamentally an identified data exchange platform.
Convenet is the backbone to Datavant’s tokenisation engine for the UK! You'll be instrumental in building the UK specific tokenisation service to handle nuances between US & British health data whilst abiding by applicable regulations thereby ensuring patient data can be transferred in a neutral, de-identified and secure manner; working towards product parity with the US. Our tokenisation service supports medical research; healthcare access assessment and informing population level affordability, thus the impact of your input cannot be underestimated. Check out our Medium post here for lots more information on what we’re building.

Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is £40,000 - £145,000.
