Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts for all financial transactions monthly
  • Book journal entries monthly according to GAAP
  • Be the team lead to properly account for all month-end close checklists & deadlines
  • Confirm transactions are properly recorded per Chart of Accounts Accounting classification
  • Create automation coding rules in Quickbooks
  • Assist with preparation of financial reporting monthly
  • Manage sales tax compliance registrations
  • Set up and monitor TaxJar auto enrollments for sales tax
  • Ensure all sales tax filing deadlines & other misc. business taxes are achieved monthly
  • Must quickly learn Quickbooks & become an expert on the team
  • Help with Accounting projects that may include 1099 tax filings, inventory management, balance sheet reconciliations, and quarterly/year-end accounting projects
  • Work independently while following department procedures and guidelines
  • And other tasks

Job requirements

  • Higher education in accounting
  • 5 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, taxes, month-end close procedures, and bank/credit card account reconciliations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong mathematical attitude
  • Knowledge of accounting and document sorting processes

Bonus:

  • Experience with Quickbooks would be a plus

Salary:

1500-2200 €/mon. NET
