About the Role 

Wiz is looking for an APJ region leader that will be responsible for the development and execution of Wiz’ mission and commercial strategy in the region. They will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships. This leader will be an influencer by nature, someone the partners are eager to engage with, and have a hands-on approach. 

What you will do   

  • Defines the overarching strategy for the APJ region to drive growth aligned to Wiz' global mission, overseeing its development and holding accountability for its effective delivery 
  • Evaluates effectiveness of strategy implementation and revises planning where necessary to achieve growth, working closely with the global leadership team to ensure a consistent approach and strategic alignment 
  • Closely collaborate with executive stakeholders across the organization, including Field Sales, Business Development, Product, Finance, and Legal 
  • Defines the overall organization of the region, ensuring it is structured for efficient and effective decision-making and communication in-line with the strategy 
  • Supports direct reports to ensure they have the vision, resources and strategic input to achieve their remit, agreeing objectives and development goals with them for their teams and ensuring these are also agreed for all staff in the region 
  • Delivers progress towards growth targets by increasing income across all channels in the region through implementation of agreed operational and commercial plans 
  • Ensures budgets are developed and approved and financial reporting is high quality and on time 

Must Haves  

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Country Head or General Manager in a multinational company 
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling a channel ecosystem within APJ
  • In-depth knowledge & experience in the ANZ, India, Singapore, and Japan markets, business cultures, and regulatory environments 
  • Ability to run programmatic sales process and metric driven GTM operations 
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence 
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results 
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly 
  • Experience developing complex solutions with C-suite customers and internal stakeholders 
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex business landscapes 
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on building and motivating high-performing teams 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of representing the company at various levels 
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue growth and market expansion 
  • Fluent in English, and proficiency in local languages would be an advantage
