The Red Hat Global Enterprise Sales team is looking for a global Business Development Manager. In this role you will be instrumental in partnering with the Business Units and Tech Sales to initiate and complete targeted account initiatives for the Enterprise segment. This role is responsible for the overall design, curation and execution of customer initiatives working with cross functional teams including Business Units, Tech Sales and Customer Success. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the account teams and also interfaces with the Enterprise sales leaders in the regions. You must have the ability to understand and adhere to Red Hat’s policies, internal control procedures and ethics guidelines. The role reports to the Senior Director of Go-To-Market Programs in Global Enterprise Sales.

What you will do:

  • Achieve annual Enterprise targets aligned with Business Unit KPIs.
  • Lead the creation, curation and execution of initiatives and programs through interaction and engagement with Business Units and customer facing teams. Provide means to measure work accomplished and ensure alignment.
  • Partner with Tech Sales org to execute go-to-market initiatives through the Enterprise AEs, ISRs and SAs community.
  • Collaborate with global and geo leaders, other sales organizations; Customer Success, Business Units, Product Marketing driving growth through data driven insights.
  • Provide Enterprise customer feedback into our Business Unit team
  • Utilize and evolve Red Hat’s systems, processes and tools to ensure deals are processed rapidly and approved within operating principles and timelines.
  • Act as a change agent, deploying new tools, technologies and processes, absorbing highly complex information and simplifying it for ease of consumption.
  • Drive standard global processes and adherence to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Provide thought leadership and creative problem-solving solutions, maximizing use and adoption of Red Hat’s product portfolio based on customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate discipline, innovative thinking and problem solving skills in addition to the ability to change course quickly.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years experience selling software or service infrastructure solutions with extensive field sales and services leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Red Hat’s offerings including products, services and solutions.
  • Demonstrated track-record of building robust business cases, proposals and execution in global organizations.
  • Solid enterprise understanding, advanced analytical skills and technical acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to surpass goals.
  • Strong communication skills used to articulate direction and collaborate with the organization, reaching into a matrixed organization to gain alignment and teaming momentum.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and with clarity in how to land our strategy.
  • Strong leadership, communications and business skills are critical.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technical discipline. MBA is a plus.
