Job Description
Overview:
We are in search of a Product Manager with a specialization in the dental market to join our company.
This role demands a profound understanding of dental products, market dynamics, and adeptness in managing products manufactured through injection molding processes.
The ideal candidate will spearhead the development and oversight of our dental product portfolio, collaborating cross functionally to ensure successful product launches and sustained growth within our markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development:
• Regularly follow the dental industry to discern trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape and build/adopt strategies for growth
• Segment the market and craft tailored product strategies catering to the diverse requirements of customer segments
• Develop precise value propositions for dental products manufactured through injection molding, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Forge a detailed product roadmap prioritizing features based on customer feedback, market trends, and technological advancements in injection molding processes.
• Ensure strict compliance with industry regulatory standards and certifications concerning materials used in injection molding.
Injection Molding Expertise:
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of injection molding processes to optimize product designs for scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and operations teams to resolve any production challenges related to injection molding processes.
• Engage with suppliers to procure top-tier materials suitable for injection molding dental products, meeting stringent B2B partner requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to devise targeted go-to-market strategies aligned with the unique needs of customers
• Provide comprehensive training and support to the sales team, empowering them to effectively communicate product features and advantages to the customers
• Foster collaboration across various departments to synchronize product objectives, timelines, and strategies.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and impact of dental products within the markets we serve.
• Utilize advanced data analytics tools to gather and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Drive continuous enhancement by iterating product designs, refining manufacturing processes, and optimizing material selection based on data-driven insights.
• Establish a feedback loop with customers and stakeholders to acquire insights and drive iterative improvements.
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to refine strategies and position dental products uniquely within the market we serve
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, biomedical engineering or a related field. MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in product management within the dental industry or medical device industry with a strong focus on products manufactured through injection molding
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing product portfolios
- Proficiency in injection molding technologies, materials, and production processes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
