Experian Software Solutions (ESS), which is an Experian business unit, helps businesses by providing bureau data, decisioning and analytics software and services, plus credit marketing and operations solutions to make smarter decisions, enhance productivity outlook, and prevent identify fraud and crime. Our organization focuses on engineering excellence, product innovation, and global scaling – with an emphasis on pivoting the business towards SaaS offerings and API-based software, data, and analytics capabilities.

Its Global Analytics and AI team is driving ESS efforts to productize analytics in each of its regions. The team has built a modern tech AI platform on the cloud, which will serve as Experian’s global platform for analytics products. This platform – Ascend Intelligence Services, is integrated with our data and decisioning systems, and hosts various analytics products spanning the end-to-end client lifecycle needs. This role will work closely with leaders of this global product team to support our rapidly-growing base of users and clients.

The new global product marketing manager will be part of the ESS Portfolio Strategy and Marketing (PSM) team, which makes a significant impact on ESS business growth. A critical enabler is PSM’s ability to understand new and existing markets and buyers, and to help design and execute successful go-to-market strategies. As a result, we are looking for an experienced product marketing manager who will take this on for our global analytics portfolio.

Job Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of our market segments, competition, and buyers by leveraging insights from internal and external sources to create value propositions, positioning, and messaging which resonates with buyers.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to develop marketing and sales content, plus go-to-market strategy plans for assigned products/solutions.
  • Work with product teams and other experts to create enablement content, including competitive and trend analysis, market segmentation, and FAQs, that is fit for purpose for use by global and regional teams.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, and Strategy teams to ensure consistent processes are in place to capture and communicate the market response to our solutions including leading indicators such as win/loss analysis, pipeline and revenue growth, competitive activities, etc.
  • Support the development of a range of global product marketing programs, as required, including customer case studies, demo videos, and product training courses.
  • Partner with Content Marketing on creating marketing assets for regions’ multi channel marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • An energetic and highly organized individual with at least 5-8 years of experience in product or strategic marketing, product management, business consulting, business planning, and/or new product introduction.
  • Preferred industry experience in FinTech, Financial Services, or Technology firm
  • Grounded in a technology field with the ability to quickly grasp the business-to-business market for data analytics, software, and cloud/SaaS solutions across verticals and regions.
  • Experience in the analytics industry is strongly preferred.
  • An agile marketer, critical thinker and a good communicator both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at executive levels to influence the development of product and commercial strategies.
  • Able to effectively challenge views and build consensus.
  • A strong writer, adept at conveying ideas and information through PPT slides, infographics, and other written materials.
  • A strategic and innovative thinker who contributes his/her ideas.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized, and disciplined – ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work in a global matrix organization where a significant amount of personal interaction is done through video meetings.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
