Description
eSalon, a disruptive, beauty/tech company based in Los Angeles is looking for an in-house Graphic Designer to join our team full-time. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US, with the occasional need to be onsite for team building and ad hoc projects.
What You'll Be Doing:

They will work closely with a Creative Director, Senior Designers, Copywriter and Chief Marketing Officer. They will also work cross-functionally within the organization. The current team is extremely close-knit, collaborative, supportive, and flexible. Because of this, we are seeking someone with similar qualities in addition to a strong portfolio and background.
Our Creative team is seeking someone who is very nimble and can extend creative assets across various platforms, all while making very user-centric design decisions. Ideal candidate is a versatile designer who can wear many hats and can easily switch from print to digital to packaging. Projects range from highly technical to more creative and conceptual. Projects may include: packaging, digital banner ads, social media posts, blog creative, emails, print collateral, in-box inserts, e-commerce product pages, photoshoot planning, and light photo retouching. The visual brand aesthetic has already been established, so the Graphic Designer will need to work within that style, yet will have freedom to evolve while maintaining the core brand values.
Packaging experience and familiarity with print and prepress production is essential. The Graphic Designer will must have experience working with dielines and mechanicals. Must be familiar with spot and PMS color printing, as well as CMYK and possess the ability to preflight for both. The Graphic Designer may need to attend an occasional press check.
