We are building our 2nd game, Ever Flame. Think Apple Health Meets Hades.

It combines fitness, mindfulness, diet, and sleep into a fun game.

How far are we?

How are you compensated?

This role is equity-based until we generate profit via Patreon donations and game revenue.

This job done at your own pace.

There are no minimum work hours. On average people choose to work between 0 to 20 hrs a week depending on their other full-time job and personal life.

Our first game helped thousands of people lose hundreds of pounds, recover from life crippling injuries, and one user even tattooed our logo.

Our 2nd game goes beyond that while also challenging predatory practices like pay2win and gambling mechanics in mobile games.

Okay, what is the plan for payment?

While the game is in development, we will be primarily relying on Patreon.

We have seen indie studios generate $10K+/month on donations alone.

Who is the founder?

My name is Yash Jain and I am the founder and CEO of Hero Trainer. I don't ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn't be willing to do myself.

I read every application myself and do the first interview always. It is the least I can do to make this process bearable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design graphics and promotional materials for game marketing
  • Design game and UI/UX assets
  • Ensure visual consistency across all game elements and branding materials

Requirements:

  • Experience in graphic design (obviously)
  • Experience designing materials.
  • Proficiency tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch, but preference for Figma.
  • Passionate about health and gaming.

Bonus Points:

  • Played Hades
  • Worked on mobile games prior

Compensation:

  • Immediate: Equity compensation
  • Estimated salary range: 80K to 100K (after revenue)
