Role Overview
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling content that aligns with our brand and engages our target audience. We are seeking a candidate who is detail-oriented, self-motivated and enjoys working collaboratively in a remote team environment. Your ability to bring creative ideas to life and deliver high-quality visuals will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Adobe Suite Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, other platforms are a bonus.
- Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of creative trends in social media and advertising, staying ahead of industry developments to infuse projects with fresh perspectives.
- Efficiency & Quality: Maintains high efficiency and speed in design execution while upholding quality standards, optimizing workflows and utilizing design tools effectively.
- Engaging Content Creation: Tailors visually captivating content to target demographics, optimizing designs for different platforms and formats.
- Photography Editing: Proficient in advanced photo editing techniques for enhancing and manipulating images to meet project requirements and client specifications.
- Visual Storytelling: Skilled in crafting compelling assets for digital and print media, effectively communicating brand narratives and engaging audiences.
- Design Fundamentals: Strong grasp of design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout techniques, strategically applied to enhance visual communication.
- Collaborative Approach: Thrives in cross-functional teams, communicating effectively and integrating diverse perspectives to meet project objectives.
- Branding Expertise: Strong ability to create cohesive brand identities across platforms, ensuring consistency and resonance with target audiences through clear visual identity.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years working in the Graphic Design space
- A strong portfolio of work completed for other e-commerce companies or agencies (e.g. Instagram/FB ads, posts, Amazon listing imagery, etc.)
- Experience working in a remote team with reliable tools and office set up
- Experience/Knowledge using AI software/tools (e.g. Ideogram, Midjourney)
- Amenable to working under Australian (Melbourne; 9am-5pm) business hours
Suggested Software Proficiency:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop
- Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator
- Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign
- Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Dimension
- ClickUp / Other Project Management software (e.g. Basecamp/Asana)
- Efficient work style, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Benefits
