Job Title: Graphic Designer
ROLE DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative, hard-working, and fun SAP Global Communications team. In this role, you will work closely with solution-focused communications leads to support our messaging and product storytelling with compelling, clear, and simple visual designs for internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate has graphic design experience for a B2B technology company. You will also be responsible for the design of other communications assets, including social media posts, internal newsletters and email headers as well as editing videos. This role will report to the VP, Communications for SAP’s Marketing and Solutions Board Area, and partner closely with teams across SAP’s solution areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and design creative concepts, layouts, and artwork for a variety of formats such as PPT presentations, email headers, internal newsletters and social media posts
- Develop graphic and interactive designs for internal and external presentations
- Edit videos for internal communications and social media posts
- Create visual and interaction designs for information visualization
- Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and communicate our brand message effectively
- Collaborate with the communications team to create visual content about our cloud software portfolio for events and executive speaking engagements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
- 2-5 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the technology industry, with a portfolio of creative and innovative design projects
- 2-5 years of experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
- 2-5 years of experience in product communication
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design
DEMONSTRATED QUALITIES
- Visual storyteller with the ability to advise and work with senior executives
- Can take complex technical topics and turn them into clear, simple, and understandable visuals
- Adaptable and highly functional in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated strength in working collaboratively with, and across, a variety of global, cross-functional teams
- Can quickly assess the lay of the land, ask good questions, and be curious about everything
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 78,000 - 170,000 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
