Graphic Designer
What You’ll Do
The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing creative materials for Vaniam Group companies and clients. This can include meeting materials, PowerPoint slide decks, data posters, manuscript artwork/figures, and other projects as decided by the Senior Creative Director. You have knowledge of how to prepare files for print or digital submissions. You also will be able to work independently with oversight and creative direction by your direct supervisor.
A Day in the Life
- Develop designs and templates for client projects via PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, or other design software
- Format and enhance creative level of client deliverables
- Create figures for projects while adhering to client and journal/congress requirements
- Implement edits as requested by Client Solutions, Scientific Communications, or Editorial departments
- Prepare files for print or digital submission, understanding various requirements for submissions
- Stay current with the latest trends and technology
- Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role
What You Have
- Minimum: Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts or related field or equivalent graphic design experience required
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the design industry; experience in pharma/ biotech is preferred
- Commercial (HCP/DTC) experience preferred
- Knowledge of layout and graphics fundamentals
- Working knowledge of brand development and creative process
- Proficient skill level in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to prioritize and plan personal work activities, use time efficiently, and communicate with manager when projects may be at risk for delay
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group problem solving solutions
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Ability to meet tight deadlines

- Ability to travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, sponsor and organizational needs (<10% travel expected)
The Team You’ll Work Closest With
You will work most closely with other Creative and Brand staff. You will collaborate with multiple departments within Vaniam including, but not limited to, business strategy, medical strategy, scientific communications, program services, creative, and client services

Salary offers are based upon several factors including experience, education, skills, training, demonstrated qualifications, location, and organizational need. The range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000. Salary is one component of the total earnings and rewards package offered.
