To further this mission, we’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing expert to lead our ambitious Product Marketing team at a pivotal and exciting time for the organization. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the success and growth of our product offerings, along with leading our talented Product Marketing team and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption, retention, and engagement. Reporting to the Head of Audience Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing product marketing strategies, driving growth, and creating a strong brand presence for Strava's products, with a particular focus on the growth of our Subscription service.

  • Make things happen. Leading go-to-market plans supporting Product priorities and new innovation (e.g. activation and onboarding experience, activity-related features, Brand partner integrations, the subscription experience), and have skill in finding and maximizing opportunities as they arise.

  • Taking an audience-first approach, thinking of the user with every decision you make. You are able to develop an understanding of how best to reach and encourage our users quickly, knowing what data to leverage and how to access and interpret it.

  • Weaving marketing expertise and creativity to bring great features to market in both proven and new ways.
  • Collaborating at the highest level with product and cross-functional teams to deliver maximum value for Strava users through a highly coordinated experience.
  • Embracing ambiguity and change, growing in an ever-evolving environment of business needs and priorities.

We're excited about you because you have:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in marketing in a corporate or startup environment
  • A proven track record of driving successful go-to-market launches that drive product adoption in a distinctive and memorable way while delivering impact to the bottom line
  • Directly managed a person or team
  • Fluency with data, including market and segment sizing, forecasting, and marketing efficacy in partnership with Business Growth and Analytics teams
  • Fitness industry or Brand Marketing experience a plus but not required
  • A BA or MBA or equivalent experience preferred (not required)
