Growth Marketer
Tempo seeks a skilled and data-driven Growth Marketer specializing in upsell/cross-sell and retention strategies to join our innovative marketing team. As a Growth Marketer at Tempo, you will be pivotal in driving account expansion and maximizing customer retention. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and data analytics, you will develop and execute effective growth strategies to optimize customer lifetime value. Responsibilities:
- Upsell/Cross-Sell Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive upsell/cross-sell strategy to drive revenue growth from existing customers. Analyze customer behavior, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and create targeted campaigns and initiatives to promote additional product adoption. Leverage data analytics tools to understand customer behavior and identify opportunities for account expansion and retention.
- Retention and Churn Reduction: Develop and execute initiatives to maximize customer retention and reduce churn rates. Utilize customer data and insights to identify retention risks and implement proactive strategies to address them. Collaborate with customer success and support teams to enhance the customer experience and increase satisfaction.
- Customer Segmentation and Personalization: Segment customer base and tailor messaging and offers to specific customer segments. Utilize data-driven insights to personalize customer journeys and communications, increasing engagement and conversion rates.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze customer data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for account expansion and retention. Collaborate with the data analytics team to develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights on customer behavior and revenue growth. Use tools like Amplitude to track user behavior, generate insights, and drive optimization efforts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to align on growth objectives and implement strategies for account expansion. Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging and campaigns with the upsell/cross-sell and retention strategy.
- Experimentation and Optimization: Conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of various upsell/cross-sell and retention strategies. Optimize landing pages, emails, offers, and customer touchpoints to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Design in-app messaging strategies to nurture users.
- Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in growth marketing, upsell/cross-sell, and retention. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Growth Marketer or similar role, focusing on upsell/cross-sell and customer retention.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, customer lifetime value, and retention strategies.
- Experience with customer segmentation, personalization, and targeted messaging.
- Proficiency in utilizing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel) to analyze customer behavior and revenue growth.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the software industry.
- Proven experience in growth marketing, preferably in a SaaS or tech company.
- Strong experience in user onboarding, activation, and conversion optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in growth marketing, particularly in upselling/cross-selling and customer retention.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Understanding the customer lifecycle and ability to strategize and implement customer
