Growth Marketing Lead

We're on the lookout for a Growth Marketing Lead to join the team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire customer journey, from driving qualified leads for our sales team through to nurturing customers throughout the lifecycle to drive conversion and engagement.

We're ideally looking for someone that is Auckland-based, but will consider remote options elsewhere in New Zealand for the right candidate.

The Role

This role will involve developing campaigns to target key roles and verticals, driving predictable pipeline activity. You will be responsible for managing various tools and analytics platforms to support growth marketing initiatives and drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategy to drive growth throughout the entire funnel, guiding key team members in crafting an effective and meaningful customer journey that captures new leads and converts them into loyal users.
  • Oversee and plan targeted outbound marketing campaigns, including ABM initiatives, demand generation events, and leveraging partner networks to drive qualified leads.
  • Create email nurture campaigns and marketing automations to engage prospects and customers at each stage of their journey.
  • Analyse customer journey data to identify conversion opportunities and optimise marketing strategies for new business revenue.
  • Working with our Digital Marketing Lead to align outbound and inbound strategies, optimise campaign performance and spot opportunities for cross-collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketer to support sales enablement material, optimise onboarding processes, and drive in-product marketing initiatives to enhance user adoption and retention.
  • Utilise and optimise our tech stack, including marketing automation platforms and analytics tools, to track and analyse key metrics related to user behaviour, conversion rates, and revenue.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimise marketing campaigns and improve overall conversion rates.
  • People leadership of one direct report, offering guidance and support in their professional development.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience or formal qualifications:

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience preferably in SaaS
  • Experience with implementing growth strategies, lead nurturing, lead scoring, a deep understanding of CRM management tools such as HubSpot

Competencies:

  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive growth strategies that encompass the entire customer journey
  • Capability to analyse customer journey data to identify conversion opportunities and optimise marketing strategies for new business revenue.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS industry landscape, trends, and best practices in digital marketing, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, preferably in the SaaS sector.
  • Experience with CRM management tools such as HubSpot, including lead nurturing, lead scoring, and effectively utilising CRM data to drive growth strategies and initiatives.
  • A results-oriented, data-driven mindset with a focus on driving predictable pipeline activity, achieving growth targets, and delivering measurable outcomes that contribute to the company's overall success.
