Software has eaten the world; almost every company produces software in some form or fashion, so our addressable market is virtually every company on earth. We're going after every engineering team on the planet - we're starting with smaller teams, but there are literally hundreds of thousands of companies out there for us to empower and maybe only a handful (Google, Facebook, Amazon), that are outside our scope. We are building the DevEx platform to empower the world.

In 2022, we raised a $25M Series A led by Initialized Capital (Garry Tan) and a16z (Peter Levine), with investments from Haystack Ventures, Garage VC, Tom Preston Warner (Founder/CEO of GitHub), Geoff Schmidt (Founder/CEO Apollo GraphQL), Nicolas Dessaigne (Founder/CEO Algolia), and Oleg Rognysky (Founder/CEO Peopl.ai).

About this Role ℹ️

  • As a Growth Marketing Manager at Trunk, you will be responsible for Trunk’s growth in all ways and own the bottom-up focus of our GTM Strategy.
  • You will drive our marketing strategy by: building marketing tools, optimization, content crafting, positioning, messaging, and channel planning for our product features.
  • If you love creating, defining, and directly influencing strategy for new business and products, then this is the role for you!
  • This is also a proactive and creative role so confidence around trying new strategies without being afraid to fail is a must. You will become an expert on the Trunk business model and marketing strategies.

What you'll do 🧑‍💻

  • Own the marketing end-to-end GTM strategy and execution.
  • Build your first funnels and begin testing new strategies.
  • Develop content that informs users and stakeholders on the product experience and drives use and engagement.
  • Own our ad spend.
  • Educate our Sales team on products and help create tools/documents that will help them win.
  • Be a thought leader and evangelist with customers and partners.
  • Onboard quickly and begin working directly with our Leadership Team
  • Learn everything you need to know about Trunk: our product offerings, our customers, what works and what doesn’t.

We're looking for 🔎

  • 5+ years of Marketing experience, ideally some Growth and some Product Marketing mix.
  • Experience leading omnichannel product marketing strategies.
  • Skilled in messaging, positioning, and content strategy.
  • Strong writing skills and excellent storyteller: ability to entertain and educate a diverse audience with a broad range of experience.
  • Creative: you love producing content that stands out and helps improve brands. These include blog posts, campaigns, video, case studies, sales brochures, etc.
  • You enjoy testing new strategies to generate revenue quickly.
  • You succeed working in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action that rewards results.
  • You’re a scrappy go-getter who is excited to help out wherever needed.

$130,000 - $180,000 a year
