About The Team

The GTM Systems & Tools team at Mixpanel helps the Sales, Marketing & Finance teams execute their global and regional strategies through:

  • Maintaining a robust, trustworthy & scalable CRM system
  • Automating key workflows that drive efficiency
  • Identifying, proposing & supporting tools that fit our overall GTM strategy and data architecture

This team sits under the engineering org and works very closely with the growth & data teams to help achieve our broader architecture & vision.

About The Role

As a GTM Systems Developer, you will be a technical partner to our stakeholder teams and be involved in the full software development life cycle starting from understanding the business needs/problems, translating them into technical requirements, identifying solutions, executing on them and following through until the business problem is solved. This is a critical role for Mixpanel at this stage of our growth, with a direct impact on our ability to meet our revenue goals.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the CRM (Salesforce/CPQ) platform using APEX, Flows and other tools

Design, configure, and develop the Salesforce CPQ platform with extensive knowledge around CPQ pricing waterfall, discounts, advanced approvals, price rules, product bundles setup, and QCP

Provide technical guidance to key stakeholders for new projects, enhancements, and bug fixes related to solutions being delivered on the Salesforce & CPQ platform

Manage Salesforce CPQ integration with Salesforce (Lightning), NetSuite, and other internal systems

Execute integration testing with Apex test classes and maintain maximum code coverage

Maintain expert-level knowledge of Salesforce system architecture and development best practices

Assist in increasing the efficiency of our GTM teams and in scaling our GTM stack (Co-pilot, Clari, Outreach, Customer.io) for rapid growth

Provide ongoing support and management of SFDC

Function as the go-to person for requests and inquiries; Coordinate updates, modify fields and workflows, etc as needed

Support day-to-day management of Salesforce configuration – customizing core architecture as well as profiles and user permissions

Support day-to-day management & execute changes of our lead routing/territory management system

Drive data quality and enrichment projects across the systems

Own the integrity of data at all stages in our GTM stack

Manage enrichment vendors, optimizing for data integrity and accuracy

Work with internal teams to establish processes that improve the data integrity of all objects; define best practices to help build increased seller productivity and SFDC hygiene

In conjunction with CPQ, establish systems to verify contract data

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in programming using Salesforce, Java, Javascript & their use in CRM development
  • 2+ years experience in solution architecture and design of Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience in customization and automation (Flows, Validation rules, Approval process) programming with APEX APIs, APEX (Triggers, Synchronous and Asynchronous)
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Should be a creative, self-starting, fast-learning, detail-oriented team player who thrives with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data cleansing & data enrichment projects

Bonus Points For

  • Start-up SaaS and rapidly expanding sales organization experience strongly preferred
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
  • Proficient with data warehouses, SQL & other analytical tools
  • Experience working with LeanData or related tools, lead routing, territory management

Compensation

The total target cash compensation (TTCC) for this full-time position is $183,600 - $224,500 across the United States. This amount includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
