Head of B2B Marketing

As the Head of B2B Marketing, you will work closely with the Marketing team, Sales and various cross-functional teams to set strategy and oversee, develop, and employ various marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve our B2B goals. You must have a successful track record of establishing and leading marketing strategy in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate has significant expertise in building awareness, creating brand differentiation, and developing (and supporting) marketing programs that help win partners and ultimately drive revenue. Importantly, you must Build upon Deako’s B2B brand, grow awareness, and establish Deako as the preferred choice among single-family and multi-family builders and electricians

What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities)

  • Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Deako’s rapidly growing B2B business
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization, especially with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations and Data
  • Partner closely with B2B Sales team to drive, execute and support various marketing activities, including channel marketing, training support, display & collateral creation, presentation, and more
  • Own the B2B messaging frameworks and ensure it is consistently used across all customer-facing roles and assets
  • Work closely with Sales to build a robust and consistent lead generation engine to ensure healthy, qualified pipeline growth and nurture those leads
  • Use data to develop market insights to understand our stakeholders' pain points, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in order to best position Deako’s capabilities
  • Lead the development of thought leadership content and other assets to further differentiate Deako’s offerings
  • Develop event strategy to ensure the enterprise team has high-quality and efficient industry engagement
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives, especially as it relates to tracking pipeline and revenue growth and ever-deepening customer engagement

What You'll Bring (Job Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing in some combination of demand generation, channel marketing, GTM marketing, or related roles
  • Strong track record of building and leading marketing efforts in high-growth companies
  • Data-driven to define success and track KPIs
  • Scrappy; you can see the big picture to set the strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to execute the strategy
  • Cross-functional; you value the rich and diverse perspectives across the organization to help arrive at the best answer
  • Prioritization; you are able to set priorities for yourself and the team to ensure we focus on the highest-yield initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with CRM, data visualization tool
  • Knowledge of home building/housing industry and/or smart home technology a plus
