Head of Brand and Product Marketing
Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Head of Brand and Product Marketing on a Fixed Term Contract (Maternity cover).
In this role you will develop and implement the Brand and Product Marketing strategy and vision. With the corporate pivot from pre-revenue to revenue and becoming a manufacturer of all-electric commercial vehicles, use the well-received Brand and messaging framework from launch, and evolve and redefine the company's unique and differentiated brand positioning
What you will do:
- Maintain the positive perception of the product, brand, and services, with a particular focus on building brand awareness within new influencer audiences of city beneficiaries in 2023.
- Manage a high performing Product, Brand, Partnerships and Insights Marketing team, and their day-to-day project roadmap, mentoring team members with a specific focus on problem solving, data driven decisions, strategic narrative and ultimately improved marketing performance (KPIs) and ROI.
- Working closely with the in-house studio and creative agencies, provide strategic direction on the visual and written articulation of the brand, acting as the company's brand guardian, ensuring consistent messaging, tone of voice and application of the brand across a growing number of digital and physical touch points.
- Act as the conduit of knowledge from Product, Truck as a Service, Sales and Operations, Design, Engineering and Strategy teams through to the rest of the Marketing Team, joining the dots on cross functional opportunities.
We would like you to have:
- A B2B and B2C Brand Marketing leader with broad experience including strategy setting, managing teams and leveraging brand and product value for growth. The successful applicant could have experience of working in Sweden or working for iconic Swedish brands ideally.
- A strategic thinker who also thrives on an operational level and rolling their sleeves up.
- Previous experience working in start-up environments, and on brand refinement projects.
- Organised and proactive, able to work autonomously through start-up ambiguity to focus teams on delivery at pace, with out-of-the-box thinking and impact.
- A problem solver, quick to identify and address blockers effectively, in a collaborative way.
- A focused people manager, who brings out the very best in their teams.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, whilst meeting deadlines. An accomplished plate spinner!
