As the Head of Brand & Content, you will report to the Head of Performance & Direct Marketing and:

  • In collaboration with other stakeholders (marketing team, product, Design) define and drive content and creative strategy that bolsters our brand connection and engagement with customers     
  • Develop a communications strategy that encompasses the entire consumer lifecycle, from awareness to education to post-conversion periods.
  • Pull through content strategy and manage SEO Managers to ensure that blogs and web content are expertly prioritized
  • Partner with marketing channel owners to craft creative platforms for all products/key campaigns that align to business priorities, brand pillars, and key messages
  • Evolve the brand voice and define key value props and messaging hierarchy for all products and segments and work closely with Media to understand differentiated audiences and messaging needs
  • Be the main point of contact for Creative Agency of Record and manage that relationship; work in 
  • Be a brand champion on the Marketing team, guiding the creative development of all advertising, landing pages, social media, and editorial/educational content
  • Evangelize the brand within Earnest, educating, empowering, and guiding all departments on how to share our story, from Product to Client Happiness to People teams

Impact of this role:

  • This role will create creative platforms/content strategy and reign that in across future products and current ones here at Earnest
  • Ensure the creative platform is being pulled through across all marketing teams as well as site experience, etc, and this person will lean in heavily for oversight of video spots 

Experiences you will bring with you: 

  • 8+ years of experience in branding and marketing
  • A mix of experience on the brand side and agency side of advertising/marketing, or experience with those different roles within an organization
  • Strong experience with cross-collaboration with Media, Production, Product within large Marketing organizations; understanding that Marketing is a combination of many different facets and experts and all pieces are imperative
  • Experience leading teams of copy and content writers, content     strategy, and giving design guidance  .
  • Experience with PR and external communications
  • Experience with SEO/SEO Content management
  • Familiarity with metrics around brand awareness and health
  • Ability to own large agency relationships, from budget justifications to timelines, to holding standards of compelling and quality work  .
  • Proven analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to glean insights, develop strategies, and communicate results based on solid metrics

A little about our pay philosophy: We take pride in ensuring we are compensating our employees fairly and equitably. We are showcasing a range and actual starting pay may be based on several factors including but not limited to, market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation, candidate location, and budgetary constraints. This number does not necessarily reflect your total compensation, but is a range for your base salary.

$137,000—$171,250 USD
