About the role

The company has ambitious plans to grow through strategic partnerships with tier 1 merchants in the U.K. and Europe and is developing an exciting pipeline of new partners. Reporting to the CCO, this role has been created to lead commercial management with responsibility for partner relationship management and delivering commercial outcomes.

You are a commercially-driven strategic partnership leader with experience of managing cobrand credit card and embedded instalment programs with high profile partners and a proven track record of achieving profit targets.You will manage the relationship with partners and develop, own and deliver all partner business plans. You will work closely with the partner and internal Product, Marketing, Credit Risk, Finance and Partner Onboarding teams to set up, launch and optimise new programs. You will also work with internal Product and Change teams to continuously improve the performance of partner programs to drive customer engagement, revenue and profitability.

You will bring a blend of strong credit card commercial skills and relationship management experience gained with tier 1 partners either in the retail, travel, leisure or automotive sectors. You are confident and versatile operator who is equally adept at managing partner relationships, directing program change and driving commercial outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a pan-European commercial management function working with iconic brands.

During your time at Tymit you will

  • Developing quarterly and annual partner business and account plans and reporting on performance
  • Taking responsibility for commercial relationship management with the partner and managing commercial performance
  • Working with Credit Risk, CRM and Finance to develop a data-driven portfolio management capability to grow and optimise the profitability of the partner program
  • Co-ordinating with Product, Operations, Risk, Finance, Marketing to make changes to partner programs to optimise performance
  • Work with Marketing to drive campaigns and new customer applications
  • Work with Product to onboard new customers and enhance propositions
  • Work with Credit Risk to drive portfolio performance
  • Work with Finance to develop pricing and yield management strategies and optimise P&L
  • Work with the card network to source new program benefits and joint promotional activities

What you will bring along

  • Proven track record in a commercial partnership leadership position for a cobrand credit card or consumer finance provider.
  • Experience in managing partner relationships and aligning internal stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Strong business planning and analytical skills to optimise yield and customer profitability.
  • First class communication skills with the ability to be the voice of the partner to internal teams.
  • Driven, confident and assertive with an ability to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • 10 years or more work experience in commercial partnership management leadership roles with a bank, Fintech or consumer finance provider.
  • MBA or equivalent professional business qualification preferred

Compensation & Perks

Salary range of Β£100,000 to Β£125,000.
