FP&A is a force multiplier, accelerating Canva’s journey on its 2-step plan. Step One – To become one of the world’s most valuable companies, and Step Two – To do the most good we can.
Working closely with leaders across the business, we bring our financial expertise to enable strategic decision-making that drives topline growth, plotting the path from goals to execution through financial planning, driving financial rigor and prudent investment, delivering key insights that lead to meaningful action, and growing the efficiency of our operations.
About the role
Corporate FP&A brings cohesion and clarity to the rest of FP&A - seeing the big picture across the company, Corporate FP&A provides perspective and guidance to other teams in FP&A - all the way from OPEX target setting and driving the FP&A rhythm, to directing the focus of teams to deliver a strong investor narrative. - You will deliver increasing efficiency to our financial close and reforecast cycles, partnering closely with the broader FP&A, Finance team, and Business leaders.
- You will design, build, and implement planning and reporting cadences at the board, executive, and leadership levels.

- You will bring clarity and cohesion to our growth narrative, and investment thesis, in partnership with investor relations, to be communicated with investors and other external parties.
- You will partner with other finance teams across accounting, tax, and treasury to deliver finance team goals.
- You will lead, grow, and develop a motivated team of finance professionals as the next generation of technology finance leaders.
What we're looking for
- Deep technical expertise, operational skills, and a proven record of leading and scaling global Corporate FP&A teams that oversee whole of company performance.
- A strategic mindset that connects investment decisions to long-term company growth. Demonstrated commercial judgment and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Brilliant communication and stakeholder management capabilities that enable you to collaborate effectively with senior business leaders across the Company to achieve desired outcomes.
- An exceptional leader with equally impressive coaching skills. The ability to motivate teams to deliver against complex goals in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
