You will be driving the engineering portion for the future of identified health data in the world. You will enable a large amount of connections to providers around the country, and provide scalability for several millions of records through the system in a timely manner. You will be one of the main key drivers in changing the way health data is exchanged in the present day.
You will:
- Lead the team to deliver Datavant’s world-class identified switchboard objectives as we expand with high growth.
- Run the team as a small, similar to a Series A or B startup in terms of velocity and size.
- Partner with product stakeholders, vendors and solution providers to move with high velocity.
- Integrate teams from a diverse set of cultures to collaborate and grow towards our common set of values determined by Our Way
- Determine the skill sets needed on the team, develop and execute a hiring plan.
- Communicate effectively with customers, prospects, partners and M&A targets.
What you will bring to the table:
- 10 or more years of experience leading high performing teams
- Passionate about building a big business that transforms the healthcare industry
- Thrive in a fast-paced autonomous environment
- Excited about the ambiguity of an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing company, and able to juggle many projects and responsibilities
- Great communication, prioritization, and project management skills

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks (competitive San Francisco rates for US-based roles) and industry best practices.

This means we default to simple job titles (e.g., Software Engineer) rather than complex ones (e.g., Senior Software Engineer). The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $355,000 - $380,000.
