Head of Security Operations

Behind many of life’s most important transactions — buying a house, applying for a mortgage, getting a small business loan, or refinancing a credit card — is a network of credit relationships. Setpoint provides critical infrastructure for relationships between the world’s largest banks, credit funds and capital markets counterparties. We’re building trust in this system of credit.
Setpoint is looking for a Head of Security Operations to join our team!

What you’ll do:
- Define and develop Setpoint’s security standards and playbook
- Analyze IT security policies, recommend new practices, and oversee program, including SSO, access controls, document storage and retention, etc.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with Setpoint's business objectives
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce risks and enhance the overall security posture
- Work closely with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business
- Communicate security policies, procedures, and best practices to all employees and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies
- Evaluate and implement new security technologies and solutions to enhance Setpoint's security capabilities
You should have:
- 7+ years of security engineering and SecOps experience in a fast paced startup or fintech company
- Deep understanding of security principles, threat landscape, and security technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with setting up and maintaining security frameworks and standards such as SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.
- Deep personal motivation to be at the forefront of technology security
