Alchemy Worx is looking for an experienced and passionate HR manager to focus on recruiting, ongoing training, and team morale. This critical role will help maintain a smooth hiring pipeline via both incoming as well as sourced applicants, and will also keep the pulse of the team - acting swiftly to solve any internal pain points. The right candidate will be passionate about working with and growing small teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Primarily work with the US team (~40 employees currently)
  • Oversight of offshore team, mainly working with their HR manager to make sure everything is running smoothly (note that this team works US hours)
  • Prepare, review and revise job descriptions as needed and post jobs
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels
  • Review incoming applicants, conduct initial interview and partner with other team members to make hiring decisions
  • Develop/present new employee orientation in conjunction with hiring manager
  • Develop, plan and implement employee relations and communications programs to promote and sustain a high level of employee morale
  • Oversee LMS systems, including Leadership and Diversity Training programs
  • Provide counsel and recommendations to supervisors and directors on personnel matters to include grievances, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain personnel policies and procedures as set forth by federal and state law in conjunction with management team and our PEO
  • Conduct exit interviews and use results to improve employee retention
  • Participate in management team meetings as required
  • Assess, develop, implement and/or coordinate training programs to enhance employee skill development and understanding of Human Resource procedures
  • Conduct and compile annual employee satisfaction survey
  • Track employee reviews and provide guidance to other team members conducting reviews
  • Update employee wiki page, handbook and other HR documents as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years as an HR Recruiter or similar role (experience with marketing agencies preferred)
  • Familiarity with ATS and resume databases (experience with Workable preferred)
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Proven track record in management of personnel matters with positive outcomes
  • Experience partnering with a PEO (experience with Insperity preferred)
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills
  • Sound judgment

  • Salary range: Part-Time at $60,000 - $80,000
